Two different evenings get the same search
One search is for a guide, a start time, and something to eat. That is the Saigon Street Food Walking Tour. Shared departures begin at 5:30 PM, last about 2 hours 30 minutes, and include five food and drink tastings. The meeting point is Starbucks Waterbus at Bach Dang Wharf. The walk finishes in the Ben Thanh area, not at a single published door.
The other search is for bars, neon, and a late street. Saigon at night describes that atmosphere, including Bui Vien. It does not put a guide on that street, and it does not mean the food walk is a bar crawl. We do not publish the food walk’s stalls, so this page will not pretend they are, or are not, on Bui Vien.
What the five tastings are not
Five tastings are the shared inclusion. They are not an unlimited meal, not a private dining room, and not a promise of named restaurants. Extra alcoholic drinks beyond those tastings are not included. Stops can change with the day.
A private evening is a different set: from €23 per person, minimum two, English-speaking private guide, about 3–4 mains, dessert, and one drink. Read that inclusion before you pay a private price and expect the shared five tastings.
If you wanted landmarks instead
History in daylight is Saigon City Highlights, at 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM. It does not include the five tastings. Doing both means two confirmations. Joining the food walk is the preparation page once you know you want the 5:30 departure.

Practical limits that still apply at night
The shared food walk still needs four guests and a written confirmation. Light rain normally means it continues. Heavy rain near 5:30 PM is case by case. Large bags are a poor fit between stalls, and there is no guaranteed storage at the wharf.
If the evening you want is a rooftop or a bar street with no start time, you do not need this booking. If you want the guide and the five tastings, use the food tour page and wait for the confirmation before you tell anyone the night is planned.
