Quick answer

A shared departure needs at least four guests and is capped at 12 guests per guide. More than 12 means additional guides, not a larger single group.

Private walks have a minimum of two guests, not a published maximum on this page.

The shared range

Both Saigon City Highlights and the Saigon Street Food Walking Tour use the same shared range: minimum four to run, maximum 12 per guide.

Twelve is the point where another guide is added. It is not an invitation to book a coach party onto one storyteller. If the question is what happens below four guests, read minimum four guests — this page is about headcount once the walk is running.

Families and friends

List everyone who will walk, including children, with ages in the enquiry. There is no fixed public minimum age, and we do not publish a rule that every child counts the same way toward the four-guest minimum. Very young children are case by case. Read walking with children before you assume a stroller is fine.

If your party is already near twelve, say the exact number in the enquiry so a second guide can be considered. Do not split the number across two messages.

Private groups

Private City Highlights is from €25 per person, minimum two. Private street food is from €23 per person, minimum two, with a different food inclusion from the five shared tastings.

A private group is still subject to the guide and the date. The from-price is not a quote for an unlimited party.

Pace

The landmarks walk is conversational, about 2.0–2.7 km. A group at the top of the range still uses pavements in District 1, not a closed path. Cross with the guide.

If someone in the party needs a slower pace, say so before the day. That is a case-by-case check, not a promise that the route is step-free.

Facts on this page come from the published Saigon walking-tour policies. Where a detail is still open — vendor payment, stall names, stairs, toilets — it is left unstated.
