The minimum is for the departure, not your party
Four guests means four people booked onto that shared departure. A couple counts as two. A solo guest counts as one. Friends who have not enquired do not count.
The rule is the same for Saigon City Highlights and the Saigon Street Food Walking Tour.
What we do when the number is short
The shared walk waits until the minimum is reached, or we offer a private alternative when a guide and the date allow it. Private City Highlights is from €25 per person. Private street food is from €23 per person. Both need at least two guests.
You will hear this in the written reply, not from this article. If you need a yes or no for a flight connection, ask for that date specifically.
The upper size is separate
A shared group is up to 12 guests per guide. If more than 12 are booked, additional guides are added. That cap is not a reason to skip the four-guest minimum.

What you should not assume
There is no monetary cancellation charge on a direct shared tip-based booking. Tell us as early as you can if your plans change. Do not set the status yourself.
Showing up at the wharf because a forum said the walk always runs is not a confirmation. The meeting point is Starbucks Waterbus at Bach Dang Wharf only after your message says so.
