Where food is actually served
Only the Saigon Street Food Walking Tour includes tastings. Saigon City Highlights is landmarks and does not include food. An allergy note on the landmarks booking does not create a meal.
Shared tastings are five items chosen for that evening. Private includes about 3–4 mains, dessert, and one drink. Neither format is an allergen-free menu.
What to write
Name the allergy, the severity in your own words, and how many guests are affected. Ask for vegetarian only if that is also true. Halal and gluten-free are separate case-by-case requests.
A day of notice is more useful than a sentence at 5:25 PM. We still may not be able to make the walk safe for you. If the reply is uncertain, do not treat the walk as suitable.
What a street stall can and cannot do
Stalls are small workplaces. They may share pans, sauces, and oil. We do not publish a hygiene protocol and we do not certify kitchens. If a vendor cannot explain an ingredient, decline the dish.
The etiquette for asking is in street food etiquette. Do not demand that a cook remake food for a photograph or for a test.
This is not a medical page
We cannot tell you whether a food is safe for your condition. That decision stays with you and your clinician. Carrying your own medication is your plan, not a service we describe.
Enquire on the street-food page if you still want to ask about a date. This article does not confirm one.
Facts on this page come from the published Saigon walking-tour policies. Where a detail is still open — vendor payment, stall names, stairs, toilets — it is left unstated.
