Quick answer

The shared walk includes an English-speaking local guide and small-group storytelling. There is no fixed ticket price on the website.

Food, paid museum entry, hotel pickup, and luggage handling are not included. Several famous buildings are seen from the outside.

The shared walk is a guide, not a bundle of tickets

Saigon City Highlights is the daytime landmarks walk: about 2.5 hours, at 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM, roughly 2.0–2.7 km depending on how the group finishes. On the shared format you get an English-speaking local guide and the storytelling that ties the centre together. There is no fixed ticket price for that shared walk on this website. Tips are voluntary. Many guests use €13–15 per person as a guideline, paid to the guide, not collected here.

If you wanted tastings, that is the other product. The Saigon Street Food Walking Tour starts at 5:30 PM. Booking the landmarks walk does not add five dishes to the afternoon.

What is left out on purpose

The published exclusions are plain: food and drinks; paid attraction entry, for example the War Remnants Museum if the group chooses to go that way; hotel pickup; luggage handling. There is no guaranteed place to leave a suitcase at the meeting point.

A private landmarks walk starts from €25 per person with at least two guests, when a guide and the date allow it. Private does not turn the exterior stops into included museum tickets. Read shared or private before you treat the from-price as a different city.

Exteriors, and the one interior that depends on opening

The published route orients you from the river at Bach Dang, along Nguyen Hue Walking Street, then the exteriors of City Hall, the Opera House, and Notre-Dame Cathedral. The cathedral stop is an exterior visit, including during restoration. Independence Palace — the building many guides also call Reunification Palace — is an exterior stop. Entry and extra time inside are not part of the base walk.

The Saigon Central Post Office is the stop where the group steps inside when the building is open. “When open” is the limit. This page does not publish today’s hours.

The finish is a choice, not a ticket

After the palace the group decides how to end. Often that is toward Ben Thanh Market. Sometimes it continues toward the War Remnants Museum area — read where the walk goes beyond District 1 before you assume every step stays in District 1. That continuation is not guaranteed, and museum entry is not included. Ben Thanh is not the meeting point. Both bookable walks meet at Starbucks Waterbus, Bach Dang Wharf, 10B Ton Duc Thang.

How to use the landmark stories

The individual stories are there so you can read a building before or after the walk. They are not a second itinerary and they do not add interior time to the booking. What to expect is the day-of account: meeting point, duration, tip, and the four-guest minimum.

If you need a slower pace, a child’s age, or a language other than English, write it on the enquiry. French, German, and Spanish are requests, confirmed in writing only when a guide is available. This article still does not take the booking.

Facts on this page come from the published Saigon walking-tour policies. Where a detail is still open — vendor payment, stall names, stairs, toilets — it is left unstated.
